It is prepared by combining small handmade manti with boiled chickpeas, tomato paste, and plenty of mint. Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 150 g minced meat
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Dried mint, salt, black pepper
Preparation
- Knead a firm dough with flour, water, and salt, roll it out into pastry sheets.
- Prepare the filling with minced meat, salt, and pepper; cut the dough into small squares, place the filling, and fold into thimble shapes.
- Melt butter in a pot, add tomato paste and water, and bring to a boil.
- Add the boiled chickpeas and the prepared manti to the boiling water, cook until soft, and serve with dried mint on top.
