Sivas meatball is prepared using only minced meat and salt. You can easily find this flavor in local restaurants on the Map, which has gained great fame throughout Türkiye by being cooked over oak wood fire.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef ribs
  • 1 kg lamb meat
  • 35 grams of salt
  • Pita bread for serving
  • Green peppers for serving

Preparation

  1. The meat is ground in a meat grinder and kneaded by adding salt.
  2. The mixture is rested in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. The next day, it is ground again and shaped into thin circles in the palm.
  4. It is cooked on a wire grid over oak charcoal fire, turning occasionally.
