Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • Half a teaspoon of baking soda
  • For syrup: 2 cups of sugar and water

Preparation

  1. Prepare the syrup by boiling sugar and water, then let it cool.
  2. Whisk eggs, yogurt, flour, and baking soda together until smooth.
  3. Dip the special iron mold into hot oil to heat it, then dip it into the prepared batter.
  4. Put the mold back into the hot oil so the batter detaches, fry both sides until golden, and plunge into cold syrup.
