Ingredients

  • 1 kg whole wheat flour
  • 1 pack of fresh yeast
  • Warm water
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • Yogurt or water for the surface

Preparation

  1. Sift the flour into a large bowl, make a well in the center, and add yeast and salt.
  2. Add warm water and knead into a soft, non-sticky dough.
  3. Leave the dough to ferment for about 1 hour.
  4. Shape into balls, flatten by hand, and bake by sticking them to the hot tandoor wall.
