Waters
Aydinli Stream is the main surface runoff affecting erosion and valley formation in the topography of Tuzla. The stream, whose flow rate varies depending on seasonal precipitation, was once the lifeblood of agricultural lands in the district. Its path can be traced on the Map; it played a role in shaping the coastal line of İstanbul.
The mouth of the stream where it empties into the sea created a small alluvial accumulation area, affecting the coastal morphology. The surrounding vegetation exhibits typical Mediterranean-Black Sea transitional climate characteristics.
