Unique to the Terme district, this delicacy differs from the crispy Bafra pide with its softer and wider dough. Prepared with plenty of onions and special minced meat, this dish is one of the most important parts of Samsun gastronomy and attracts visitors from all over Türkiye. Ingredients
- 500g flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 400g minced meat and onion filling
Preparation
- Mix flour, milk, water, and yeast to obtain a soft dough.
- Rest the dough and open it widely and ovally with your hands.
- Spread the prepared minced meat and onion filling over the dough.
- Bake in a stone oven, then serve by brushing with melted butter.
