Ingredients

  • 1 kg flour
  • 250 g butter
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon kombe spice mix (nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • Sesame seeds (for topping)

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter and mix it with yogurt and granulated sugar in a deep bowl.
  2. Add the kombe spice mix and baking powder to the mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until you get a soft dough consistency.
  4. Shape the dough using traditional molds, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake in a stone oven until golden brown.
