Cuisine

Consumed throughout the day by local people in central Achada Igreja, this snack is known for its outer crust obtained by kneading corn flour with hot water. You can find freshly fried versions in village coffee shops reachable via the Map. The inside is usually filled with fresh tuna and sautéed onions.

This street food is one of the practical and filling products of Cabo Verde cuisine. It is traditionally served with malagueta, a local hot sauce.
