- 3 tablespoons of butter
- Half a cup of molasses
Preparation
- Boil water and salt in a large pot.
- Gradually add the corn flour to the boiling water, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
- Continue to cook over low heat until the mixture thickens into a smooth puree.
- Take spoonfuls of the cooked malay and arrange them on a serving platter.
- Drizzle with melted hot butter and garnish with walnuts and molasses before serving.
