Cuisine
In a busy and dynamic district like Güngören, chicken and rice is the most delicious way to get full on the go. Although known all over Turkey, the intensity of the chicken broth used by the rice sellers here and the grain-by-grain texture of the rice make it special.
Especially in the evening hours, you can see people lining up on the walking paths in the district center. If you want to experience an authentic street culture during your Istanbul visit, you can stop by the square stops on the Map and taste this flavor with plenty of frothy ayran.
