Although kete is made in various ways across Türkiye, the Göle version stands out due to the roasting consistency of its filling and the crispness of its dough.   • 1 kg of flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 tea glass of vegetable oil
  • 200 grams of butter (for filling and layers)
  • 1 packet of yeast and salt

Preparation

  1. Milk, oil, yeast, salt, and flour are combined to obtain a smooth dough.
  2. For the filling, some flour is lightly roasted in butter until fragrant.
  3. The dough balls are rolled out, buttered, and the roasted filling is placed in the center.
  4. The closed dough pieces are shaped into rounds and baked in the oven until golden brown.
