Ingredients

  • Salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes
  • Hot water for boiling

Preparation

  1. For the filling, sauté the onions with the minced meat, add spices, and let it cool completely.
  2. For the dough, knead bulgur, semolina, lean meat, and salt with water until it reaches a paste-like texture.
  3. Take walnut-sized pieces of dough, hollow them out with your finger to form a thin shell.
  4. Fill the shell with the cooled meat mixture, seal the edges, and shape into a smooth ball or disc.
  5. Boil the prepared stuffed bulgur balls in salted boiling water until they float to the top, then drain and serve.
