Ingredients
- 1 kg Adapazari chestnut pumpkin
- 2.5 cups of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of tahini
- 1 cup of crushed walnuts
- Clotted cream (optional)
Preparation
- Slice and peel the pumpkins, place them in a large pot, and pour sugar over them.
- Let them sit in sugar for at least 5-6 hours, preferably overnight, until they release their juices.
- Cook over low heat until tender, then transfer to a baking tray to brown slightly in the oven.
- Once cooled, drizzle generously with tahini and sprinkle with crushed walnuts before serving.
