Ingredients

  • Fine bulgur for kitel
  • Fatty minced meat
  • Dry onions
  • Dried basil
  • Salt and black pepper

Preparation

  1. Fine bulgur is kneaded with water and salt to obtain a flexible dough.
  2. For the filling, minced meat, finely chopped onions, basil, and spices are sautéed.
  3. Dough balls are taken, hollowed out, filled with the prepared filling, and closed.
  4. The meatballs are boiled in boiling salted water in a large pot and served hot.
