Cuisine
Unlike standard flour halvas, this dessert is prepared by rubbing the dough into tiny crumbs, a heritage method in Iğdır homes. It has a crispy texture and rich buttery taste that sets it apart in Türkiye. Roasting the flour to the right shade requires patience. Check the Map to find traditional spots in the old town.
