This simit, which you can find fresh at any time of the day on the Maltepe ferry pier and coastline, is at the center of street culture. It has a special dough formula that keeps its crispiness longer compared to other simits in Istanbul. It is consumed with cheese and tea in coastal tea gardens on the Map.
The doughs colored in molasses pools are among the most delicious examples of bakery heritage throughout Turkiye.
