- 200 g fresh clotted cream
- 1 cup ground pistachios
- 2 tablespoons butter
- For syrup: 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water
Preparation
- Knead a firm dough with flour and water, then let it rest in small balls.
- Roll out the rested dough with a rolling pin and then toss it in the air by hand until paper-thin.
- Place fresh clotted cream in the middle of the dough, sprinkle plenty of pistachios, and fold it like an envelope.
- Fry both sides in melted butter until golden brown and serve by pouring hot syrup over it.
