Ingredients

  • Sponge cake (ring-shaped)
  • Buttercream
  • Krokant (nut brittle)
  • Cherry jam or jelly
  • Glacé cherries for decoration

Preparation

  1. Slice the ring-shaped sponge cake horizontally into layers.
  2. Spread cherry jam and buttercream between the layers.
  3. Coat the entire outside of the cake with the remaining buttercream.
  4. Press the nut brittle all over the surface and decorate with cherries.
