Ingredients
- 1 kg medium-fat minced beef (preferably from the ribs)
- 20 grams of rock salt
- Nail pita (for serving)
- Tomato and green pepper (for roasting)
- Onion (sliced companion)
Preparation
- Knead the minced meat only with rock salt in a large bowl.
- Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours so that the bonds in the meat break.
- Take pieces slightly larger than walnuts from the rested meat and make flat and wide meatballs.
- Cook the meatballs on an oak charcoal grill, turning frequently.
- Serve hot on roasted peppers, tomatoes, and nail pita.
