Ingredients

  • 250g strawberries
  • 250g raspberries
  • 250g red currants
  • 250g cherries
  • 50g sugar
  • 40g cornstarch
  • Juice of half a lemon

Preparation

  1. Wash and clean all the berries. Cut the strawberries into halves or quarters.
  2. Slowly boil two-thirds of the berries in a pot with sugar and lemon juice.
  3. Dissolve the cornstarch in a small amount of cold water and add it to the boiling berries to thicken.
  4. Remove from heat and gently fold in the remaining fresh berries.
  5. Divide into bowls, chill in the refrigerator, and serve with vanilla sauce.
