- 1 kg strained yogurt
- 1 cup cracked wheat (yarma)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Local wild mint or mountain beet greens
- Salt and water
Preparation
- Soak the cracked wheat overnight and boil it in plenty of water until soft.
- In a large pot, whisk the strained yogurt, flour, egg, and water until completely smooth.
- Bring the yogurt mixture to a boil while stirring constantly, then add the cooked wheat.
- As the soup thickens, add finely chopped local mountain herbs and salt, then simmer on low heat.
