Ingredients

  • 250g stale white bread (cubed)
  • 150g speck from Trentino (cubed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 200ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • Finely chopped parsley and chives

Preparation

  1. Place the bread cubes in a large bowl, pour the milk over them, and let soften.
  2. Add the chopped speck, parsley, chives, and beaten eggs to the bread.
  3. Mix in the flour, knead the mixture gently, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Shape the mixture into medium-sized balls and simmer in boiling salted water for 15 minutes.
