Preparation

  1. For the filling, finely chop the onions and sauté them with the minced meat, add pepper paste and spices, then leave to cool.
  2. Knead the bulgur, lean minced meat, and salt thoroughly with water until it reaches a paste-like consistency.
  3. Take walnut-sized pieces from the dough and hollow them out thinly with your finger.
  4. Fill with the cold stuffing, seal the edges into a round or flat shape, and boil in rolling salted water.
