It is a historical region within the borders of Bahçelievler, which was geographically a plateau plain in the past. Although fully urbanized today, it is part of the denudation plains of Istanbul geography.

Terrain

The Yayla region forms one of the parts of Bahçelievler district with the highest and flattest topography. This geographical structure, located on the western extension of the Thrace-Kocaeli Peneplain, has transformed into a residential area over time.
