Overview
Bahçelievler is a densely populated and dynamic district located on the European side of Istanbul, in Türkiye. Rapidly industrialized during the Republican era and later transformed into modern residential areas, this region is morphologically shaped on the Bahçelievler Yayla Region (Plateau). The Ayamama Stream Basin (Bahçelievler Border) running along the western borders and the Tavukçu Stream passing through the center constitute the primary hydrographic elements of the area. Geographical Structure and Urban Development
The Çobançeşme Alluvial Plain, located in the southern parts of the district, is a strategic area where transportation axes and commercial centers are positioned.
