About

Yildiztepe, one of the steepest and highest points of the Mudanya coastline, is a natural topographic elevation with a bird's eye view of the Gulf of Gemlik. This hill shows tectonic fault lines of Bursa coasts.

Terrain

Yildiztepe is located on a natural cliff block east of Mudanya, at an altitude of approximately 150-200 meters above sea level. The structure of the region, open to wind erosion, has caused the vegetation to be limited to short maquis. You can visit the Map area for exact position data.

The hill, which has been used to monitor sea traffic since ancient times due to its geographical location, is today the most popular natural viewing terrace of the Mudanya district in Bursa.
