Built during the reign of the Roman Emperor Tiberius Claudius Germanicus, the monument is a unique rock relief within the borders of Bartın.

Heritage

Built between 41-54 AD to commemorate the construction of Roman military roads, the Kuskayasi Road Monument is located on the Bartın-Amasra road. The monument features a Roman soldier relief, an eagle figure, and bilingual inscriptions. Used as a resting place and a marker in the ancient world, it is one of the rare highway monuments in Türkiye.
