Heritage
Located in the Amasra district within the borders of Bartın, Amasra Castle consists of two main sections: the Sormagir and Zindan castles. The castle, which is one of the best-preserved fortification structures in Türkiye, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. Serving as a strategic defense point since ancient times, this area is now a popular spot for visitors.
