Heritage
Opened to visitors in 1982, the museum houses artifacts from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Genoese, and Ottoman periods obtained during excavations in and around Bartın. The Roman period statues and sarcophagi displayed in the museum reveal the importance of the region in antiquity for the archaeology of Türkiye.
