Heritage
The Gök Medrese, one of the iconic symbols of Sivas, was commissioned by Sahip Ata Fahreddin Ali to the architect Kaluyan of Konya. Reflecting the rich stonemasonry and blue-toned tile mosaics of the Seljuk era in Türkiye, this masterpiece dazzles with its two-minaret portal.
The courtyard and iwan architectural plan of the building is of great importance for understanding the educational system and religious architecture of the period. Visitors can check the Harita section for precise location details.
