- 150g Trentino speck or ham (cubed)
- 2 eggs
- 200ml warm milk
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Finely chopped parsley and chives
- Salt, black pepper, and nutmeg
Preparation
- Place the cubed bread in a large bowl, pour the warm milk over it, and let it soak for about 30 minutes to soften.
- In a separate bowl, mix the beaten eggs, diced speck, herbs, and spices, then add to the bread mixture.
- Add the flour and knead gently with your hands until a cohesive dough forms.
- Shape the mixture into small, tangerine-sized balls and simmer them in boiling meat broth for about 15 minutes.
