Heritage
Established in 1926 and later moved from the historic Gökmedrese to the Arasta Bedesten, the Tokat Museum houses artifacts covering a wide period from the Chalcolithic Age to the Ottoman era. Bronze tablets, coins, manuscripts, and examples of local handicrafts, which are important for the archaeology of Türkiye, are meticulously preserved in the museum.
