Heritage
Tokat Castle, dominating the Tokat city center, was built on steep cliffs that offer a natural defense mechanism. Known for its walls, bastions, and secret passages, this castle has resisted many sieges throughout history. Considered one of the most mysterious castles within Türkiye, the structure gained fame with the legend that Count Dracula was imprisoned here for a period.
