Heritage
The Sultan's Pavilion was built near the military barracks to provide a resting place for the sultan to manage daily affairs. Surviving within the boundaries of Esenler, this niche group of structures reflects post-classical Ottoman aesthetics. The historic fountain right next to the pavilion is an elegant cut-stone example of water architecture in Istanbul.
Although its inscriptions and marble carvings suffered wear over time, it survives thanks to recent preservation efforts. Frequently cited in the architectural history of Türkiye, you can find its location under the Map section.
