Heritage

The Seyyid Harun Veli Mosque was built in the early 14th century, simultaneously with the foundation of the Seydişehir district. The building, drawing attention with its complex architecture, consists of a tomb, mosque, and bath sections. It has survived to this day as one of the most authentic examples reflecting Konya Seljuk and Beylik era architectural styles.

The tomb section houses the grave of Seyyid Harun Veli, considered the spiritual architect of the district, and welcomes thousands of visitors each year. You can check the Harita section for its detailed geographical coordinates. This sacred site is protected under the cultural inventory of Türkiye.
