Sakarya Museum

Located in the center of Sakarya, the museum houses ethnographic artifacts and serves as a historical venue where Atatürk stayed during his visit to the city.

The museum building houses archaeological and ethnographic finds that shed light on the recent history of the Sakarya province. While stone artifacts from the Roman and Byzantine periods are exhibited in its garden, memories and personal belongings from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's visit to Sakarya during the founding period of Türkiye are displayed indoors.
