Heritage
Okuzbatan Mound is a multi-layered archaeological site based on the agricultural past of Evciler. Extensive pottery shards from Hellenistic and Roman periods were identified. The surrounding plain allows studying historical settlement layouts in Afyonkarahisar. See the Map for spatial analysis.
Protected in accordance with the cultural heritage legislation of Türkiye, the mound offers significant potential for future scientific research.
