Overview
Located in the southwestern part of the Afyonkarahisar province, Evciler is a charming district situated in the Inner West Anatolian section of the Aegean Region. Established on the Büyük Menderes Basin Evciler Section, one of the most important agricultural basins in Türkiye, the district stands out with its fertile lands and a daily life centered around agriculture. The Evciler Plain, which forms the heart of the vast agricultural fields, is the lifeblood of economic activities and traditional production in the region.

The geographic character of the district is shaped by wide plains and slightly undulating plateaus. This topography, developing around the Evciler Continental Plateau, is also highly rich in water resources. The Kurucay Stream, one of the vital water veins of the area, plays a critical role in agricultural irrigation. The Karakuyu Reedbeds Evciler Border, a protected wetland environment, is a frequent stop for migratory birds and endemic species. Other natural highlights include the Kocayaka Hill and Forest, known for its fresh air, and the fertile soils of the Gokcek Alluvial Plain.
