About

The Kavaklı section of the denudation flatness forms the general topography of Beylikdüzü. It is an extension of the high plains on the western peninsula of İstanbul.

Terrain

Kavaklı Plateau is a vast, slightly undulating erosion surface located in the southern parts of the Çatalca Peninsula. It consists of plains at an altitude of about 100-150 meters. The geographical boundaries can be viewed via the Harita. It exemplifies Neogene erosion periods in Türkiye.
