Su Nuraxi di Barumini is the best-preserved example of the unique defensive towers found in Sardinia. This historical center, which is of great importance for the archaeological history of Italia, was constructed with massive stones without mortar. The complex features a central tower surrounded by the ruins of an ancient village.
