Waters

Salinas is one of the rare geological formations in Cabo Verde where you can swim protected from the harsh ocean waves. Ocean water filling the gaps between basalt rocks creates a calm harbor. Refer to the Map tab for its location.

The area holds both recreational and traditional importance due to its sheltered structure where fishing boats take refuge.
