Timeline, heritage and stories

Heritage

The Rakoczi Museum is the house where the Hungarian Prince Francis II Rákóczi resided within the borders of Tekirdağ between 1720 and 1735. The building was purchased by the Hungarian government, restored to its original state, and opened to visitors in 1968. It stands as the most concrete example of deep-rooted diplomatic and cultural ties between Türkiye and Hungary. You can check the Map tab to find its exact location.
