Kurul Castle

Located close to the center of Ordu, Kurul Castle is an important archaeological site from the Ancient Kingdom of Pontus.

Kurul Castle is one of the oldest settlement areas within the borders of Ordu. During the excavations, many valuable artifacts, especially the 2100-year-old Cybele statue, were brought to the archaeological history of Türkiye. The geographical location of the castle can be accessed via Harita.
