Kure Mountains Ulus Forests

Covering most of the Ulus territory, these old forests contain the most pristine parts of the Kure Mountains National Park.

Ulus Forests are among the most valuable areas of Bartın province in terms of biodiversity. It holds international importance with its monumental trees, endemic plant species, and wildlife protection zones. The distribution of these vast forests can be easily seen in the Harita section.
