The Kinik Ancient Settlement is an old residential texture that developed right at the foothills of the Toprakkale fortress. Surface surveys have revealed pottery shards and foundation ruins belonging to the Roman and Byzantine periods. Monitored by the Osmaniye museum directorate, this archaeological site is situated at the junction of ancient Cilician trade routes.
