Located in the town of Kaymaklı in Nevşehir, this underground city was carved into tuff rocks. It is an outstanding example of historical defensive architecture in Türkiye.

Kaymaklı Underground City has eight floors, four of which are open to visitors today. Compared to other underground cities in Nevşehir, its corridors are narrower and lower. The city features wineries, storage rooms, and rolling stone doors, making it an essential part of Nevşehir itineraries.
