Historical Bartın Houses

These historical wooden structures preserved in the streets of Merkez are the most authentic examples of traditional Bartın architecture.

Built mostly in the 19th and early 20th centuries, these mansions are concentrated within the Merkez district. Reflecting the woodwork and architectural aesthetics of Bartın, these buildings carry the historical texture of the city to the present day. See the Harita section for locations.
