Located in the Düziçi district, the historic Harun Resit Castle was built during the reign of Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid to ensure border security. This structure, built on steep rocks, is among the most important historical heritages of the Osmaniye province.

Heritage

Harun Resit Castle is strategically located in the east of the Düziçi district. Built in 786 by the march lord Kasim for soldiers from Khorasan, the castle is an important example of Abbasid military architecture within Türkiye.
