Forest
Hanak Forest Area is one of the rare forest textures appearing in the sheltered valleys and slopes of Hanak district, within the general geography of Ardahan which is mostly covered with treeless plateaus. This local forested area, generally consisting of Scots pine and dwarf birch trees, is an important shelter for wildlife and draws attention with its clean air.
