Located within the borders of Yukarı Gündeş village in the Damal district, this area reveals the profile of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk through shadows falling on the Karadağ Mountains every year in June and July. This unique natural phenomenon attracts numerous visitors from Ardahan and all over Türkiye. The site is the most vital point of the district in terms of cultural heritage tourism.
